Welcome Home

Welcome Home is a program of the Polish American Foundation of Connecticut and also an invitation for Americans of Polish descent to reconnect with their Polish heritage. The program includes the Polish Language School for Adults, folk art classes, genealogy and trips to Poland.  Our annual Pisanki (decorated Easter eggs) classes have become a new Easter tradition for many people.  Our trips to Poland are about exploring the culture and traditions of Poland unlike any other Poland trips.  In 2019, we expanded into genealogy by sponsoring a genealogy conference in Poland and we continue to host genealogical lectures on ZOOM. Our Polish Language School for Adults is in its fourteenth year and offers several levels of Polish language classes.

Registration has opened for our 2026 Summer Sessions. Beginner Polish starts on June 16, 2026. Grammar Review begins on May 7, 2026. Class size is limited.

Registration has opened for Beginner Polish Class starting June 16, 2026. At the end of the summer Beginner class, you are ready for Year 2 in September.

The January 2026 Beginner Polish Class is now full. Please click below to sign up for hte wait list. Our next Beginner Polish Class begins June 2026, twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
